I have been doing my best to do as much speaking about safety and selling cars online as I can. While I knew that staying safe when transacting with strangers is important, it hit especially hard this past month when a craigslist car ad meetup turned fatal. While horrible situations like that are fortunately rare, we still have to worry about scams and fraud.

I’m not trying to scare anyone... I’m mentioning these things because I want to empower you with all the information I have to share.

I am determined to communicate as much as I can to help spread the word because there are measures you can take to be safer when screening potential buyers and making your transaction.
